Caffe Lena's 50th Anniversary!!

On May 22nd, Caffe Lena will be celebrating it's 50th anniversary! In case you didn't know, the Caffe is the longest continuously running coffeehouse in the country!

As part of our celebration, it was recently announced that the artists for our big shindig will be Arlo Guthrie and Robin & Linda Williams. Both have been long-standing performers and supporters of the Caffe. The show will take place at the Arthur Zankel Music Building on the Skidmore College campus. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at the Caffe Lena website.

More information will be forthcoming about other events throughout that weekend. Sarah Craig, the Caffe's Director, will be a guest of WSPN before the event to talk about the Caffe's rich history, plans for the celebration and what's next for the Caffe.

Fundraiser for the Southern Adirondack Musicians Fund

Today, Sunday 3/7, is the last afternoon to take part in the fundraiser to benefit the Southern Adirondack Musicians Fund. Stop by Caffe Lena anytime between 1 and 4 to hear some wonderful music, have a cup of coffee and donate $15 to the musicians fund. The activities kicked off yesterday with a terrific lineup and continues this afternoon with the following musicians taking the stage!
